Yes another one I know! I just wanted to show you how I actually make my current favorite winter Moisturizer. It is simple to make and does not take too long either. Here are the ingredients
Virgin Coconut Oil with 5 drops of Essential Oil (the Essential Oil is optional)
Lemon peel infused Almond Oil
Vitamin E Oil
I have a link to my Video hereas well as write up of my recipe and process if you prefer to read about it linked here.
One thing to keep in mind is that a little of this goes a really really long way so use it sparingly. I use the moisturizer for both my face and body and only need to apply it once a day and prefer to do so at night, this way I know it gets absorbed into my skin before applying anything like makeup.
So I managed to squeeze in one last video for 2013! It is my simple and quick Whipped DIY Fluffy Coconut “Oil/Cream”. As I have mentioned in my Blog and in the video is use this as one part of some of the mixes I make. I use this for both my skin and my hair however I mainly use the Coconut Oil/Cream as the base of my Face & Body Moisturizer and would add other ingredients to it. I also occasionally add it to my DIY Hair Gel (Flaxseed Gel.) You can read about my Oil/Cream here and watch the video here.
The main ingredient is obviously Coconut Oil and this is actually the only ingredient you will need. I do add Essential oils to my mix (either Peppermint or Lavender) but this is completely optional. The two requirements for the mix are:
To use semi solid coconut oil
You must use a whisk (electric or hand held will work.) You can not use a blender as the blades will heat up the oil and turn it into a liquid.
I hope you enjoy my video! And I hope you are enjoying the last few days of this year with big hopes and dreams for the coming year!
Alright guys so I just wanted to give you a very quick summary of all the Hair Care Routine write-ups I have done so far (04.09.2013)
I have basically written up ALL of my Hair care routines. I not only show the ingredients I use to create my DIY products but I also provide the quantities I use, mixing instructions and application process. In some of them I have image demonstrations because I used snapshots from the Videos I already have. As and when I make videos I will be adding image demonstrations of the application or mixing process.
