Hello Maicurlies,
I read a really great article on Natura Magazine written by the insightful Terry Amoni. The article is something I wish I had read while transitioning, especially seeing as I was completely clueless about natural hair and how to care for both my relaxed ends and natural roots.

“For Transitioners: A Lesson on Scab Hair” covers to topic of Scab hair; explaining what it is, why it happens, some of the ways you can tell if you have scab hair and how to take care of scab hair.
Like I said, very insightful and I am sure quite helpful for new transitioners or even those who might have recently big chopped, since scab hair not only affects new transitioners! If you are experiencing hard or “wiry hair” that just does not seem to want to remain moisturized and soft even though you are doing everything possible to take care of your new growth/transitioning, hair take a gander at the article. If you know you are using the right products and have a proper routine but nothing is helping, it might not be your method, you might have scab hair.
Have you experienced Scab hair? How did you deal with it?
Thanks
